Ages 13-15
In this class, students build on their technical skills in art, as well as learning how to create more thought out works. The Term is 8 weeks long with classes once a week for an hour and a half. Students in the 13+ age group spend more time working on projects than they would in our programs for younger children. This course has a focus on drawing and painting, and looks to extend students to their fullest potential while keeping the classes enjoyable. There is still lots of variety in this course with students working with pencil, charcoal, ink, pastels, watercolours, and acrylic painting. Our tutors give individual attention to students to help them succeed and grow to their fullest potential, as well as to introduce them to new exciting techniques and ways of drawing and painting!
Drawing
Students will learn about form and how to construct a pleasing composition!
Painting
In our classes students will learn the basics of painting, Including colour theory and how to balance and create successful paintings
